Overview

The STEM Biomedical Sciences program offers students an array of advantages, from career readiness and hands-on experience to college preparatory-level classes, labs and creative exercises. Students succeed in the classroom and in their career pathway in the real-world.

The sequence of high school courses in the Biomedical Science Program includes four courses, all aligned with the national learning science standards. Courses must be taken in this order, as each class is a prerequisite for the next.

Any student who is interested in becoming college-ready in the field of medicine should join the program. These courses encourage students to apply math and science knowledge to hands-on skills that are used in the field.

Upon successful completion of each course and the End of Course Exam, students can receive Articulated credit with MnSCU schools and Transcripted college credit.

Special thanks to our business partners for supporting our students to be career and college ready: Minnesota Masonic Homes, Dr. Emily Pike, Dr. Couillard, Northfield Hospital, Snyder Orthodontics, and Fairview Ridges Hospital.
